can the silver bits in the N/A lights be painted back or are they sealed units?

The black turbo units appear on eBay every so often, be much easier than messing about with paint ;) I have them on my silver NA. A mod the previous owner decided to do. Look tidier IMHO thumbsup

The fronts of the lights are stuck on. You'll have to prise/cut them off carefully, then probably sand down and paint the edges of the clear cover black so it looks right again, and stick the cover back with some kind of sealant (I found some clear polycarbonite-friendly stuff). The covers on the front of mine fell off, and I sprayed the cluster with Satin black while I was at it. It took a while to do nicely though, but the result is good. If your lights mist up then its a good way to fix it thumbsup You'd have to be very serious to do it if your lights were in good condition to start with though.
