Just seen THIS on the easytrack website

Event Date: Sunday, November 09, 2003
Event Location: Mallory (Nr Leicester)
Event Type: Track Day
Event Price: £99
Places Remaining: 36/40
Noise Limit: 98db

Anyone been to Mallory Park before? Feedback? Runoff? £99 for 6 1/2 hours seems cheap :)

Anyone? Anyone?

This is VFM considering it is open pitlane. But the circuit is pretty boring.

Cheeky - never done it a car, but a fav for racing (a while back) track days on my bike. It is my favorite bike circuit (I know strange...but there you go). Gerrards is Fu*@ing insane, it goes on and on. The devils elbow is awesome on a bike, becasue of the camberEntering Gerrards is a bit bumpy, but ok. Not a lot of run off, but OK. The back straight now has a chicane in it, apparently to slow you down before you enter the corner....new this year. The bustop would be a real pain in a car, but it is I think removable so they might not have it in. Smacked my head and shoulders on the barriers going through there too many times to count. I love the circuit, many hate it. I only get back from Miami on the 5th, so I am not sure about this. Is it Thursday the 6th or Sunday the 9th?

OK, I will read it better next time....Sunday the 9th...I think I'm in! By the way the surface is so so, but compared to the Brunter's runway it is smooth as a baby's bum!

Yep...I've used them once before...no complaints...well organised, well marshalled with safety in mind. This is a pretty good price so very tempted plus it's fairly close by. I suppose bit worried about the weather....due to height, I struggle to fit in the VX with a helmet so I need to have the roof off...but what if it rains...does it matter too much with the VX??
