All Vxl VX dealers in the Midlands are crap beyond belief. HTH.
I'm guessing I shouldn't bother going anywhere near Steve Thompson's then..... ? Where did you used take your's Foxy?

Not exactly in the Midlands but I got good service from Baylis Cheltenham for my Hose & Wheel change. Paul is really enthusiastic about the car and it shows!
Quite impressed with Paul and i'd leave my car with him knowing he'll look after it. What lets it down is the service from the front desk, awful!!

Yep, Steve Thompsons

The VXL place in Cannock on the A5 might be worth a try?

Bought my new VX from there - massively over inflated tyres, dodgy touched up paintwork, over tight wheel nuts. All minor stuff but wasn't too impressed.

Agreed.
Good (not excellent) service from them. The things that they *do* attempt, they do well, but they have been known to completely "forget" the odd item off the job sheet

Go figure

Anyhooo, a specialist will do a better job, if you can deal with the inconvenience of taking the car (potentially) further, since they actually care for your service. You won't go back if they don't do the job well - something that Vxl Dealers seem to not care about, conveniently forgetting that you can take a car ANYWHERE for service now, as long as they use OEM parts.....
The courtesy cars are crap though (1.0 Agila.....Nice).
Steve
