Not really understanding what an anti roll bar does, what benefits does it offer?

connects the left and right shocks, so limits the amont of movement one shock can have independantly of the other. Not really understanding what an anti roll bar does, what benefits does it offer?
Soft ARB means the left shock can compress right down while the right stays fully extended. Stiff ARB means this can't happen (as much). Net effect is to limit the amount of body roll without significantly stiffening the suspension. Downside is that left and right can't work so well independantly (e.g. when hitting a bump with just the left wheel).
AFAIK the VX ARB is fixed whereas an adjustable one has lots of mounting holes to generate different amounts of leverage depending on where you fix it.

Basically keeps the car flatter when cornering by connecting the bottom of the suspension joints together on each side of the car, thus when one side of the car compresses the other side would follow.
Strange really as anti-rolls actually make independent suspension less independent!! if taken to an extreme.
Beaten to it LOLLLLLLLLLLL
