My lasting memory of Steves car is a passenger ride round Brunters at a National Meet a couple of years ago. Was absolutely rock steady round 120L - unlike most other cars on that corner. It's certainly an extremely well sorted track car. Good luck with the sale Steve. I'm so tempted......

Good luck with the sale steve. Your baby was the first one i saw a write-up about in one of the motoring mags 5 years ago. Just out of interest, what sort of power output is she pushing? Edit..The magazine was the official magazine of the vauxhall sports car club 'HP m' Volume 2 Edition 2. Described it as the 'Yellow Hammer' and then inside, as the 'Lightening Conductor' Oh and i'v not got a photographic memory ;) I'v just picked-up the magazine from the bedside table, as i keep all the VX related things i come across. :)

Ive still got that issue Icey....

I think the bhp claims back then were a little 'optimistic'

Although the spax development comments and turbot comments should be a testiment to how much we owe steve for his efforts in the development of vx220 tuning.

Imnotworthy where its due thumbsup

I can only echo that this is a great car, the mods are all well thought out, from top suppliers and fitted by experts. Someone is going to get an excellent car and if I had the funds spare I wouldn't hesitate. good luck with the sale Steve. Sean

A few passenger laps in Dean's old car (black NA) and Steve's car at Bruntingthorpe last year convinced me to buy adjustable suspension and fit a rear wing on mine. Both very well sorted cars with fantastic grip and balance. Good luck with the sale Steve thumbsup

Steve it seems to be the curse of the highly modified VX's people love the cars but don't seem to want to buy them, I had exactly the same problem when I tried to sell my VXR. Its a real shame as yours is an excellent car at a price that is a bargain.

Wish I could help with suggestions about where to sell but my problem was fixed by the dealer who wrote it off.

good luck
