Just a thought really. Don't have an xbox or anything so play loads of stuff on the pc. Been playing loads of hitman-codename 47, and also hitman - contracts, (but not hitman - silent assassin as it doesn't work with a wireless mouse :beat: ) recently. Also into world of warcraft 2 at the moment as well. Only snag is it takes up hours to play a game all the way through! Far too addictive! :( Anyone else into their pcs? :tumble:

Games console addict here, switch on, play. None of this mucking about with drivers, patches, constantly upgrading memory, graphics cards, processor. Plus 32" TFT in the lounge and armchair comfiness. To buy a PC the same spec as the Xbox360 is a lot more money, oh and wireless controller joypad.

Do it Fluffy, it will look great on your big screen

I play games on my PC :D I bought my XBox 360 last month and it was the first console I've owned since an Atari TV game in the late 70s

I play games on my PC. I've got an Xbox, Xbox 360, and PS2. Some games just seem to "work" better on the PC. thumbsup

Oh good so its not just me! :) I would agree that some games do work better on the pc than on other systems. I think this is in situations where you need to apply a bit of strategy etc. For instance world of warcraft would be dreadful on a console. At least on a PC you can assign every key on the keyboard to do one particular thing which with time makes for better, and quicker play. So what games do you lot play on your pc's then?

Used to play a lot of Wolfenstien Enemy Territory. Own (rented) my own server the lot. Again took up too much time and I packed it in. I played for some decent clans and had one my own but never got anywhere on the uk / euro ladders.

CSS had to many aimbot / hacking going on.

It's okay as long as you find a good server to play on. But I know what you mean - can be difficult.

OK, I must confess I keep looking at some of the new games, to be more exact, the online playing games and I really can't be arsed with all that. I was amazed recently when I bought a game called Auto Assault for about £12 and it doesn't tell you on the back that you can't play offline at all, and that it costs £8 per month to be a member. Bugger that I'm poor enough as it is! I was also not a happy bunny, that once registered (where I found out about the £8 per month) the damn thing tried to download 350mb of updates all in one go... One positive thing though, HMV took it back the next day, even though I'd uncovered the serial code on the registration card. I must say I do enjoy playing against the pc, because once you've bought the game there are no more costs. Plus you can cheat against the pc which you probably can't do online. So as much as I enjoy world of warcraft 2, I won't be getting involved in the current world of warcraft game. I have just however bought a brand new boxed version of starcraft including the expansion pack off ebay for £5! I know I really should be practising guitar but its christmas coming up and I'm feeling lazy!

Quel'Thalas - Human Rogue, mid 50's

Though I kinda got bored with playing a rogue and pretty much stopped levelling. I started messing about with some others to see what other character I might take to high level.

Cool. On Kul Tiras I had a level 60 undead warrior and a level 60 human priest. The warrior was a black wing lair raid leader with my guild. Loved that game. Played Everquest 2 before that but it was not as good.

Sorry, but I think it's gash.
I fcuking LOVED BF2 but just can't get into 2142 in the same way. I've tried and tried (and will probably try some more :beat:) but it's just nowhere near as good... IMO :(

I just bought BF2142, i think its a bit too like bf2, when they changed the game engine from quake to their new one (compared to 1942) it made it a little more difficult to control. I'm loving titan mode but there arent enough flyable vehicles to get on to the titan. Anyway if you fancy a on-line game any time just pm me for my msn address

What is CSS, mentioned above? I mainly use the pc for FPS's, I really don't like the online FPS thing though, I don't really see the point. My Bro-in-Law bought BF2142, expecting it to be FPS and when I borrowed it, I was a bit gutted. The PC isalso great for Flight Sims IMO.
