Can you get the updates from anywhere else?
Don't you get free Xbox live Silver membership ? I think that lets you access Xbox live marketplace and updates but not multiplayer games.

the 360 is not connected to the internet.
I know you can download the backwardly compatable stuff from Microsoft onto a CD via your PC
Can you get the other updates online via PC?

i think i remember reading that you can get updates via cd if your not online.
