CHR 1 S was for sale a couple of months ago.... couldn't quite afford the £85k asking price though  :P I've seen a few good ones recently - D1 LDO on a Noble, and a friend of a friends cars are IOU and UOI - another price tag not for the faint hearted (on matching top of the range his n hers Mercs as well) oh to have money to burn (actually ultra rare plates are a good investment) most vxt plates I've seen are £250 just need to be a little creative if that floats your boat - personally I like them, although not enough to pay for one (plenty of other toys to buy!)

I just went with V22 L*C, it's vaguely VX related, but still useable on another car as and when I change.

I want to get hold of VX** ZZO as I think it is simple, but obvious with no tenuous suggestions to what it may mean and how it relates to the car, but unfortunately the only one left at the DVLA has 04 as the **, and as mine's an '03 it's no good I've been in contact with the owner who has the '03 version (FLC on here) as in a complete moment of randomness I passed him on a mountain pass in the lake district and got in touch via the 'spotted' board. He said to make him an offer, but I think the plate will be worth more to them than I'd want to pay, especially as it came from the DVLA for £499, which i think is a bit of a steal, but I wouldn't want to pay much more.

I've got BL03 OFF (Blow off) which is not VX related but raises a smile where ever I go. I look at people laughing when they are behind me at the lights. The previous owner had it and wanted £500 for it. I phoned Reg Transfers and they offered me £3000 cash for it so I paid the £500 to the previous owner!!!!!!!!!!!!
