Looking at some wheels but they require spigot adaptors I've never delt with this, what would be your opinion? Safe? hassle?

Spigots are perfectly safe practise as long as the're the right size for the wheel. Most are made of plastic. O.Z make theres out of cast metal. Mass produced alloy wheels are often produced with an oversized centre bore (to allow for fitment to multiple vehicle make hubs) and the relevent spigot should be supplied for your particular vehicle fitment. If the wheel is meant to run with a spigot ring...don't be tempted to run them without; as then you are asking the wheel studs to take the centreing strain and not the hub

Some Team Dynamic wheels come with a plastic spigot which they say are good for most applications, the exception being very heavy track use as the spigot can melt, in this instance they recommend replacing the plastic one with an alloy spigot.

Thanks for the info I am looking into some TD wheels a great price with the correct offset BUT they require sprigots( will make certain they are metal)

I spoke to someone who can get me the Pro Race 1.2 (legit) he said the offset I want and at £410inc Vat + delivery. I can also get some tyres sorted. I wanted first to confirm the sprigot thing I think I may order a set I don't want to stomp on muncher with his group buy, though He did say though that he could do a deal on a group buy

Yea I do funny still running them, wheels haven't fallen off yet
