I can't comment on the sound or performance gains but having seen a Longlife exhaust and owning a full Milltek, I can say the Longlife is better put together than my Milltek. The welds & the finish appeared much better but that's only on the two exhausts I've seen. There's not a lot of technology in an exhaust, so bettering the performance of a Milltek may be difficult but if someone can produce a better finished unit for less bucks, then other options should be encouraged, so go for it Jamie!!

Pardon

I think you will find getting an exhaust to perform well and produce a sound thats better than a wet fart takes more than just welding together some tubes and saying there you go thats good.

I contacted longlife and thats the standard clio/saxo response etc, im willing to guess £400 will get you a nice custom back box with the "loudness" you want, and that does take some "technology" to get right.

I'd be worried about a company that can't spell 'catalyst' making an exhaust for you! And a 4 cylinder Ecotec will never sound like a V8! And presumably you're supposed to think that the first pic is a Ferrari 355 and not an MR2 with a bodykit? 600 bucks seems like a lot to me- get a Miltek or something else which is proven to work on the VX- then at least you know what you're getting.

Thats the first thing I thought when I saw it. Crappy MR2
We have a yellow monstrosity that prowls the town centre at night trying to fool the "deeply" intoxicated :beat:

First impression from that advert did not full me with confidence. :(
I also believe it may well require a little more then cutting, chopping or welding the odd bit of drain pipe. :P
