Fuel filter or pump  (pure guesses!) What are the symptons - misfiring? is the car in 'limp mode'

I got the definition from http://www.vx220.org...=36015&hl=P1200

I reset the error with elm 232 and it hasn't come back on after 60 miles :beat:

I used elm232 (http://www.ukobd.co....sp?IDproduct=29) and digimoto lite. On the errors screen, it said 1 error, and listed the following codes in the box: C3F03 C3811 P3716 P1200 I wrote these down, then pressed reset errors (eml light went out immediately). It changed to saying 0 errors, but it still had the following in the box: C3F03 C387F P0312

Intresting. the C codes should be chassis codes afaik and the P codes powertrain. I think the only chassis component that can report codes is the ABS system. But I couldn't find the codes you mentioned. Same goes for the powertrain codes. The codes relating to an injector circuit malfunction (is the closest I could find compared to the "error p1200 injector control circuit") should be p0201 - p0204 for each of the cylinders.

Bit strange, usually you should be able to match the codes to what is documented in TIS...

revival I think the software I was using (digimoto) was wrong. has anyone had a P1614 before? (DTC P1614 Loss of RIM Serial Data) that's the only one that scantool.net brings up... and it kind've sounds like it's an error brought on by plugging something into the obd port. NB, scantool.net shows this error, but the light on the dash isn't actually on

OK OK, here's the main error I get

DTC P1137 HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 2 Lean System or Low Voltage

it appears in the TIS - http://www.speedster...el-Vauxhall.pdf

P1137 - O2 sensor power enrichment lean (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
The control unit recognises the malfunction of the circuit via an internal
evaluation logic.
Concerned Terminals:
X22: 51, 52
Refer to test step :C-21

What does this mean? I am an uber n00b at this engine stuff

hmm I've been getting it quite a lot (I think), now that I'm using scantool rather than digimoto I should be able to clarify it.

I also need to check what cat the car has, in fact I can't believe I didn't check when I had the undertray off during the rebuild :beat:

do you have a sport cat or the standard one?

the sensor before the cat is the mixture lambda, the sensor after the cat just tests the cat is working.

a lean mixture can be caused by a faulty lambda sensor (before the cat), which is what was happening on mine.

this one
