Jack passenger side of the car up, remove the passenger side rear wheel and then remove the inner wheelarch liner and you have full access.. some filters can be changed from the enginebay though but access is more limited that way :) HTH chinky chinky

Is it a standard pannel replacement,

If so as your looking from the rear of the car to the front in the rear bonet, in the top left is the air box, unclip the clips holding the lid on,

lift out the old filter and hoover our the crap in the box (optional)

put new one in, AFAIK no addative is needed on new filters they should come ready prepped.

oh and get a viper its noiser!! :D

If its a pannel replacement there is no need to jack the car up or remove the liner thats for a non standard cone filter.

Although if its a cone filter then im wrong :D

I have a standard paper filter at the mo - but I've had a Courtney element sat in the corner doing nothing It comes with a spray can of oil, so presumably just a light coating :) Let me know how you get on - I may get round to changing mine over then!!! thumbsup
