ok first off make sure the pic you want to upload is of the right size (or the size Police may lock you up and confiscate your keyboard)
get yourself Microsft Windows Image resizer Powertoy <HERE> (its a genuine programme so dont worry about installing it)
Once its installed if you 'Right Click' on the image, at the top of the box that open's you'll see 'Resize Pictures' - 640x480 is a good size for this forum. That'll size the picture up or down accordingly.
Then go to a hosting website, i use ImageShack - its a free site & you dont have to sign up if you dont want to. It also resizes pics but i find it can sometimes crash/timeout if the pic is too big to start with.
Ok once your there, click 'Browse' and go to the relevant folder where you have the picture you'd like to upload (i normally just put them on the desktop for ease of finding)
Then select your picture, click 'Host it!'
The next screen that appears shows loads of links, go right to the bottom and higlight/copy the last link.
it'll look like this example -> http://img101.images...urvxpicture.jpg
Then, come back on here, go onto the thread you want to post in and click on 'New reply' at the top of the reply box you'll see a small icon with a tree in it. Click on that & another smaller box will open. Right click, and 'Paste' the URL you've copied from Imageshack into this box. Click 'Ok' and it will insert the picture link into the thread.
Job's a good 'un.

Hey Nick, I had the same problem for months. I couldn't attach anything anymore. Allways got some strange errormessage
I asked, but nobody could help. I did send several mails to the administrator, but he never even answered

Finally a friend gave me the right hint. Maybe it'll help you too.
Log in and go to 'My Controls'. Under 'Options' you will see 'manage your attachments'. Check there.
The solution in this case is to delete the old unneccesary attachments you'll see in the list to free up memoryspace.
What I didn't know was that all the attachments you make during the years, are all hold in memory on your account. And wenn that reserved space is full, you're not allowed anymore to make attachmentsStupis thing is you want get any clue, only a cryptic errormessage
Did that but I have nothing in my attachment folder
