Thanks for that link – I've been wondering what Forza 2 was really like, and should I get a 360 to tide me over till GT5 is out.
Now I know – not even up to GT4 level in terms of graphics (!) and the physics don't look that convincing either. So, I can relax, continue to avoid the infamous "red circle of death" club and carry on playing GT4 with the 900° FF G25 wheel whilst waiting for GT5![]()

I wondered that too when these wheels first came out and people were making a big deal about them. Unless you're into drifting etc (which as VX owners I doubt many of us on here are), when on track does anyone ever use that much lock? Unless my driving is absolutely pants and doubt for racing you'd ever really need more than half of that.I just have one question, why do you need 900 degrees of lock in a racing sim/game?

It's a real shame that people are so easily swayed by a little extra polish on the visuals, and as a result will miss out on all of the great things that Forza 2 brings to the racing scene. 360FPS physics, 60FPS visuals, in depth modifications, drive-train swaps, tuning, advanced AI and potentially great online racing if the first Forza was anything to go by.
Oh well, you just can't convince some people! Have fun waiting for GT5 and racing against drones in GT4 in the meantime, it's going to be some wait.

Honestly Speedy, having been a long time devotee of the GT games (since GT1 on the PS) and having played the demo of forza2:
The physics in game are second to none, I have never played anything that felt more realistic.

I have played /own ALL the GT games PS1/PS2 and have also tried the new Forza demo!!!!
All I can say is... this is a free Demo of what is coming. And....It's 100% better then GT.
Thats all I can be bothered to say at this time of night!

I use a GT force feedback wheel btw. I need to buy the 360 wheel asap....

Just doesn't look convincing: textures, lighting – in particular how the light on the cars doesn't relate well to the surroundings. GT4 did it better two years ago at PAL definition.

As soon as I moved from a Logitech Driving Force to a Logitech Driving Force Pro, I never wanted to play any games that don't suppot the DFP (such as TOCA 1) ever again – just sooooo Mickey Mouse. I find, especially when negotiating a hairpin or driving a track like Monte Carlo, it is just so much more realistic.
GT5 will be awesome – especially if the 6-speed, H-gate gearshift of the G25 is supported.
Have you ever used one? It is like a real steering wheel in its response – and, at least in a game like GT4, totally convincing. The feel of my Lotus, 300ZX and Pug 106GTI are all spot on – so I presume they've got the others right too
