I had an S50 MR shown on the first page and am still a member of the ///M Register as well as Zroadster.net. My Vanos was pretty growly when I sold the car and was starting to weep oil, had a quote of £3,300 from Lind BMW to replace all the necessary parts!

My first convertible, a lovely 1973 MGB Roadster...





Kinda wish I hadn't sold it, but babies and 2-seaters don't mix . So a more sensible Saab 900 convertible was acquired (no pictures atm).

Then the third baby came along, and I (somehow) managed to convince my wife that what I really needed was a ridiculously impractial 2-seater to replace the Saab - hence the VX!

my second car, first was a golf cabriolet but didnt take pics, this was my first introduction to vauxhal ...





my third car, chipped and tuned to 280bhp and went like sh*t of a shovel, shame it didnt handle like the vx!



my current car, i decided it wasnt all about how fast u can go in a straight and wanted more fun and practicality lol so i bought this,

I'm not entirely sure if this is in the right order, and I only have digi pics of a couple of them, but here goes...

1st Car White F reg mk4Escort 5 door 1.3 Popular plus - melted after 12 days and not scraping the ice off the windows properly - Schholboy error!

Blue F reg 1.2 Nova bought it for £400, drove it for 3 weeks , sold it for £450! didn't even wash it

R reg Corsa B 1.0l Atlantis blue or some such pish ( call it Purple and be done wi it!)

51 plate Corsa C SRi 1.4 (the baby SRi lol) Petrol Blue

W reg Corsa B 1.2 Auris Blue i think it was

The Mighty Transit Van!! was doing Stock Car Racing, needed it for towing

L reg Chavalier red which an Artic took pleasure in destroying on the city ByPass one morning


White mk2 Golf GTi 16V think she was an F reg or summit

a Bedford Rascal, that was a superb laugh!!

D reg 1.2 (i think) mk 2 Fiesta, maroon, steel wheels painted white, peco exhuast system, K'n'N filter and whatever both brothers done to it before it went round the whole family

P reg Mondeo Ghia X wi all the trimmings, an ST bodykit, tuned engine, Spax suspension, Clifford alarm with IntelliStart, Custom Powerflow exhaust de-cat and no silencers ( this thing annoyed the neighbours 10 streets away!!) and lots of other stuff, some of which I don't even know about that a good mate had done to her before passing her on to me



Current Car is a 55 plate Fiesta Zetec Climate, 1.6 TDCi in Moondust Silver, some performance back box or other, Tuning module, lots of washy polishy time with Meguiars products. Had her on 17" BK609's which looked loverly but decided to put the original 15's back on for winter


Pretty sure there is a couple of cars missing in that history but I have no idea what or when at the mo....

and next I plan on getting a VX220 N/A
then after a couple o years probably a Tubby and then probably a VXR!

of course, we all know Life will come along and fudge that idea right up eh! lol

Here's a couple of my previous toys Had this for close to 3 years 1996 Westfield SE, pretty basic with a 1600 X-Flow, Twin 40's, cam, big valve head but still great fun. Which was then followed by a 993 Targa from May 2004 until May 2007. This was a truly fabulous car and I wouldn't be surprised if I owned another at some point in time JOhn

Well, where to start! In my 6 years of driving, it goes something like this...

1. @ 17, my Nova 1.2 Merit+ with genuine GSi parts bought from Vauxhall - still miss it:


2. @ 18 I got power hungry, got a Saxo VTR - 90bhp was good at 18 u'know!!


3. @ 19 got more power hungry, got this VTS - put it to trackday-spec (adjustables, full system, enclosed induction kit off a 106 rally car, roll cage, bucket seats, harnesses and not a lot else) - I loved that car:



4. @ 21 I needed a more sensible car for work, got a Focus TDCi Sport and got Power Engineering to chip it:


5. @ 22 I wanted something a bit more fun, so in a moment of madness bought an original Mini Cooper!! Good fun, but it couldn't be a longterm, only car...

6. @ 22 I then replaced the Mini with a 206HDi Quiksilver (same engine as the HDi GTi) which I then gave to the missus:


7. @ 23 I now have this E46 320D Sport, which may well be going to make room for a VX220!



In addition, I also had this Triumph TT600:


And here's my new bike, an Aprilia RST1000 with a few tasty mod's (full straight through exhaust system, derestricted airbox with K&N, Power Commander unit, etc):
