Thanks Guys. I've had 3 years off safe reliable fun & no speeding fines. So its sadly time to make a change. I'll be sad to see her go. But hopefully the new owner will have as much fun as i've had. The VX is an amazing car but the fiat cinqeucento doesn't quite work as a family car.

A bit off topic, I know  But I noticed that the passenger footrest on your pictures has round holes in it, where mine has triangular shaped holes. Did you get that standard with the car?

I put the foot rest in when i bought the car so it was not fitted as standard.
there is an original blue vauxhall hard top with the car.

I have not had much interest in the car ( probably due to the price) I'm wandering whether to sell number plate & hard top seperately does anyone have any thoughts on this. :poke:

Well I reckon the price seems about right. If you sell the hardtop in November you'll get £600 for it, and if you sell the numberplate separately that would give you a total of £1,400, making the car ~£14,100.

Hold out for the money you want - you should get at least £14,500 without the roof or numberplate, especially as it's so sunny at the moment!

Also, would you take offers on the plate? i.e. somewhat less than £800?

There's nothing wrong with your price, mate. Here on the mainland they go for similar prices; even more. Just be patient.

Very much like the look of your car mate, however trying to offload mine at the minute. If I do manage to sell quickly I'll be in touch for definite! I'm yet to experience any vx220 of any specification but I'm sure that the Blue is fastest!! :)

I saw Ian's car last week when I bought his Team Dynamics and agree that it is a VERY VERY nice looking VX - gorgeous colour, excellent condition and well spec'd with all its extra's including the cover and original boot bags. The dash plate is also colour coded which I hadn't seen before - really smart. So come on guys, you know you want it!! Clair.
