Think I've pulled the changer cable out the back of the head unit while I had a large bag in the passenger footwell. Anyone able to point me somewhere that shows how to remove the head unit? It doesn't look like it's the usual U-shaped clips but I might be wrong. :(

From what i remember, it is usual u-clips. Take the face off, and then you should be able to see where the uclips go.

Mine came out easy enough when I needed to take it out to change a couple of components.

Had a look in the manual that came with it and it turns out that I do need the U clips to remove it. Didn't get those with the car unfortunately. :angry: Still can't see the holes that the clips are supposed to fit into, TBH. And yes, I did fold down the cover that attaches to the faceplate first. :P

4 3" nails? Halfwits almost certainly sell them so saxo boy can go nick a stereo out of a "top mota" like a Golf MkIII or something.

Halfwits almost certainly sell them so saxo boy can go nick a stereo out of a "top mota" like a Golf MkIII or something.


Top tip - metal coat hanger chopped into two piece and bent round into u shape - works a treat :) used it on my old rover..........
