Rabiata red with a black hood. Black leather interior with passenger foot rest, never tracked, all alloys are as new with no kerb marks

2002 02 (Build no 3943)
28000 miles
8 months Mot
2 months Tax

Correct Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round with new ones recently on the back, other new parts include expansion tank, coil pack, throttle body, spark plugs ran on motul oil fully synthetic

Serviced by Thorney Motorsport and just had a geo setup done by Guglielmi Motorsport (scared stiff)

Brand new elise parts steering rack fitted by Guglielmi Motorsport (only fitted last week)
Just had a stage 1 remap at Thorney Motorsport (makes a huge difference to power delivery)
Water ingress kit fitted to the engine bay
Trr developments Carbon Twintex cover fitted to expansion tank
Filler cap bolts replaced with stainless steel items
Alloy anti rattle door pins
Alloy Heater pipe replaced with high temp silicon ducting (made a big difference to airflow to the cabin)
Interpower Xenon HID kit (very good you can actually see in the dark!!)
¾ front number plate

This is my pride and joy and I will be gutted to see it go especially since I have now pretty much rectified all of the common faults you get with vx220's but due to increased traveling with work and this being my daily commuter I need something a bit more practical

£10995

Silver Hardtop available for £500

(Based in sheffield area)

My mobile number is 07719443817

No links but i can give you some more details. 55200 miles 2000 late T reg but now on private plate S3 NFP which goes with car Yellow with blue/black half leather half alacantra full electric recaros IHI Turbo upgrade by Jabbasport (over 4k) Performance clutch upgrade Porsche 996 brake upgrade on fronts - large discs and calipers Supersprint full exhaust system with oval tailpipe 18 Inch BSS annivesary alloys - sadly some kerbing on two of them Front mount intercooler Usual S3 refinements of climate control, a/c, traction, 6CD changerm, trip computer.. I bought this car off a friend who owned it for 2 years and had most of the work carried out himnself by Jabbasport. I have a folder full of receipts totalling over 9K. It is MOT'd and taxed til Jan 08. I am actually off to Jabba this afternoon to get her serviced. The overall condition of the car is excellent. I recently had an issue with the suspension which i think is a common fault with the 1.8T, the near side rear control arm snapped, but this as been replaced along with the bearings on both sides. As i say I am getitng her serviced this afternoon so wont be able to respond until tomorrow but if you want to call me my no is 07834 189809

Lovely cars s3's i have driven quite a few but i would be after something a bit more standard as i have done a lot of work on various 1.8t lumps in the past (in mk1 golfs) and from my experience that sort of power can cause problems with reliability. Out of interest how much internal engine work has been done and have you had any problems with it?

well i'm not entirely sure without the paperwork but everything that was needed to handle the power increase was carried out when the turbo was fitted (its a very long receipt), injectors,manifold... plus the clutch plus the intercooler. The work was carried out in Sept 05 and theres been no probs with reliability engine wise since. its a very solid car
