Got talking to a guy, David, who's brand new drilled disc had exploded, and bunged the guy, Mike, who organised the day 30 quid, and got the last 30mins on track!
For those who haven't been - it's an excellent track for the 220. Quite short, and fairly narrow in places, but really smooth (apart from the braking zone after Paddock Straight). It was quite damp over most of the track, but was able to keep some sort of 911 convincingly behind me

Nice bunch of guys there - especially as they let me gate crash (no, not in an expensive way) their day...
It seems from reading their site that they do a few days there a year, and at Castle Combe, so it might pay for us Western / Welsh members to team up with them sometimes.
Few different cars there - though I assume that some had left by the time I arrived (3:30 ish), with some quite serious machinary there... One of the Lancers had very glowy discs at the end of the stop for the complex *grin*
I'd imagine that it's a great place to play when it's dry, though there isn't a great deal of run-off in places...
Just in case anyone drops in from http://www.lancerregister.com/ (I put a plug on there for here) Hello!
Really can't wait for Hethel now!
