Its massive. How easy is it to get off and replace? What method and what replacement mirrors are you lads using. Im thinking trackdays here. I need more vision out of the front. The Loti lads remove theirs on the day with easy. I have tried and mine seems well in place. Autowindscreens here I come??!1?

Put one hand underneath the mirror and use the other hand to hit it upward. I use a small mirror from Halfrauds £5 IIRC. Doesn't have anti dazzle thing but I dont care.

Just fitted a tiny replacement mirror in place of the standard one. To remove mine, I just slid the existing mirror base up towards the top of the screen and once it comes free of the runners attached to the screen it just pulls off towards you. No screws or any other fixings to undo. thumbsup

I fitted the Sector 111 Micro Mirror from Hangar111.

Size comparison:-

Yeah, not the cheapest! But I had a credit note with them so wasn't so painful in reality. Does make a huge difference to forward visibilty, especially when turning left out of T-junctions when the old one always used to be in the way.

bloody hell £77 for a mirror!!! I paid £5 for the (child safety view mirror) from halfrauds, Uses suction cup so easily removeable, again doesnt have the night dimmer setting but thats fine by me and its about the same size as the £77 mirror! Edit to say i can also position it alot higher than that £77 mirror, the top of mine is level with the top roof bar and the bottom is about level with the sun strip ive fitted when looking left from the drivers seat.

I read somewhere (on here) that a Yaris rear view mirror fits.

Oooh god, I'd forgot all about the huge interior mirrors that Lotus insist on fitting! :D

We've got these 5"x2" ones in the Exige & VX, very cheap from kit car shows! ;)

The Hangar111 mirror is great - much improved visibility, doesn't vibrate so you can actually see clearly what's behind you, BUT it is quite expensive. Looks good though B). PS. I had the halfords suction mirror too, but it kept falling off at inappropriate times  :P

I like the small mirrors and I can definitely see the appeal... but has anybody else noticed how useful the big old one is for blotting out the sun?? :)
