Seems a good place to start...........

I'm new, know very little about VXT's (have yet to drive one!!!) but have had a massive change in circumstances and therefore that always warrants a change in cars!!!!

I have these 2 cars for sale (the little green rocket has interest and a possible viewing next week) and I'm after a VXT (preferably with a hardtop) and a cheap(er) diesel (Fabia VRs, MG ZR TD etc etc)....

http://www.pistonhea...ales/174022.htm (its bonkers)
http://www.pistonhea...ales/195281.htm

Not suggesting anyone here might wanna part ex (be good if you would though!!) but before any deal could go ahead I would really need to sell the kit car. Hopefully, that may happen next week.....

If anyone has any buying tips, things to look out for, mods to avoid etc etc etc feel free to add it below....

Good to make your acquaintences!!

MOz

Oh BTW, I found this on ebay, lovely colour and great mileage but he's having a laugh with the price surely????

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...02807&rd=1&rd=1

Makes me wonder if he really wants to sell!

Hopefully I'll never be in the situation where I have to find out :) They are fairly rare - tho there is a mandarin tubby on ebay at the moment (but overpriced) Edit - Doh, just seen your edit - I imagine it's worth more around the £18k mark - you could buy a 'new one' for £19k not long ago - but as far as I'm aware they've all run out Mandarin has to be seen in the flesh really - photo's don't seem to do it justice :)

manderin does look great, depends on how bad you want a manderin vxt. i think a standard 03 plate vxt should go for around 15k (depending on optional extras, mods etc etc) aint checked the sales much recently though

Thanks Toadfootwear. Sadly I think I'd need to see a yellow one in the flesh before going that way. That colour would not have been top of my list. I would make the ebay car an offer, but I need to sell at least one of mine first! Keep em coming MOz

Hi, Would consider selling my VXT for the right money. Moonland Grey (most sought after colour), 29k, Remote C/L/Alarm/immobiliser, Black leather, footrests, leather door cards, leather gear suuround, FF Blaupunkt MP3 CD player with front tweeters, Original factory hardtop, Full Vauxhall warranty until FEB 08. Brand new bridgestone tyres (£600), brand new Mintex brake pads, FVSH. Excellent condition throughout, a couple of the alloys have light curbing (due to the Girlfriend being the main driver) Make me an offer i can't refuse...

Sounds very interesting Scoobs, Can you PM me a few photos and details and roughly where you are. Presume if the warranty is March 08 the car is an 05??? Orwell's car is deffo top of my list at the moment, as the part ex thing could work there, but deffo happy to consider others. Thanks MOz
