Hi Lando - since March this year...love the motor, but er need more space has my lady decided to start a family all by herself without much consideration for my driving comfort; thus a change is required! Must admit it it a bit funny getting her out the car which she now point blank refuses to get in! She has a Micra which is not any fun (by any stretch!), so something with a bit of poke but which a medium sized telly tubby can get in easily enough (and I can get to the hospital quickly!). Probrably an Audi or Scooby - although I am open to ideas?

Cheers

Paul

LOL - yes it is! I would pretend I was being ironic and taking some pictures of a VX next to a headstone - some epitaph eh! But I was just been inconsiderate when visiting “relatives” and getting a tad bored. I’ll check out the Coupe thanks!

to the top...with an oldie goldie.. A dustman is going along the street picking up the wheely bins. He gets to one house where the bin hasn't been left out so he has a quick look for it, and then knocks on the door. Eventually a Chinese man answers... "Harro", he says. "Alright mate, where's your bin?" asks the dustman. "I bin on toiret" replies the Chinese bloke, looking perplexed. "No mate, where's ya dust bin?" "I dust bin on toiret I told you" says the Chinese man. "Mate", says the dustman..."you're misunderstanding me... Where's your wheelie bin?" "OK, OK", says the Chinese guy. "I wheely bin having w*nk".

Horror stories

I seem to remember the Beeb featuring a story about a guy who lost his X5 to a fake bankers draft too, which he eventually tracked down in the Balkans some where about to be shipped to Arab land.

Like the guy said id wait till the funds clear.

The guy is genuine - but as you say it is better to be wise before the event. I've ask for bank confirmation, failing that the folding stuff instead. Its a day later but best safe than sorry. Thanks again for looking out for us! :grouphug: EDIT: for information for anyone else going through a sale; ask for the draft serial number then confirm with the bank it is genuine - a pain to get the answer, but a bigger pain if not genuine!
