Well first of all a big thank you to Streetboy for helping me out with the parts and the fitting today! I'll be seeing you again with a viper I think after hearing yours today :) The black discs look absolutely stunning, combined with the green pads it's a notable improvement aesthetically. I'll post some pictures up tomorrow for all to see. Initial impressions are good, pedal is very solid now with excellent modulation and control, just lacking in any real power whilst they're bedding in. I'll take it out for a good blast tomorrow to see if I can get them scrubbed in but they are most definitely confidence inspiring! Fitting didn't take that long really considering we got quite stuck on the first rear one, and the best bet is there's no brake dust anymore :)

Agree it looks great – the black discs set off the wheels very nicely. B)

One thing I have heard is that green stuff pads can be very difficult to remove, necessitating expensive professional help  . Anyone else heard of, or experienced, this or have any tips on preventing them sticking to callipers?

We copper greased the backs and edges, so there shouldn't be any problem getting them out. And they seemed like a good fit - not too tight.

Well I took it out today with the roof off for a 90mile round trip. After about 80 miles I really got a feel for what they can do, from 90mph just a touch of the brakes almost puts you through the windscreen and your down to 40 in a matter of seconds, simply phenominal! I need the ABS upgrade though I think, they set the ABS off so early compared with the OE setup and the ABS is also not as smooth as it used to be. Rather than a pulsing it almost snatches the pedal, is this normal with the default ABS setup or is there something wrong here? Anyway absolutely superb, just gotta watch no-one goes into the back of me!

I had the same setup on the front of my Astra - I agree, they are excellent discs, and the pads work really well with them! The knight-rider esque noises when you're braking hard from speed is also nice :D
