MOz, obviously we had a little mis-understanding. Let me re-phrase me last post. I would love to support your event however I do have work commitments that weekend. If you could pm me the charity that you are supporting I will make a small donation in due course. Liam. thumbsup

Cheers Liam, Please understand I have a twisted sense of humour and our charity day is struggling for participants atm.... I didn't mean to offend! We are supporting the N Wales Air Ambulance this year. Thanks for your kind offer. Sorry you have to work!!! MOz

I was at the track day at Anglesey last Saturday, I was driving a Porsche 997RS.

There was a gold VX going very well, I had to push quite hard to catch up.

I also saw VXR53, I used to own VXR52.

Good to see the VX's on track.

That would be mine!! What colour was your porsche? I seem to remember strolling past a few :P
I could have done with doing a full day to get used to the track a bit more but the 3 hour session was awsome!

It is an Orange one, but they were common as Fords on Saturday, there were three Orange 997 RS's and one Black one. I actually followed you guys out of the car park. I was very impressed with the pace of your car, is it standard ?

Lol!

Tell me about it. I was there too in the much slower blue VX and everytime I looked in the mirror I saw another bloody Porche doing warp factor 10! Great day though and great new track.

Nice to meet you Liam and cheers for the ride. I'm already in the process of trying to justify the cost of wheels, tyres, suspension, to the missus!

Can you give me some info on your choice of tyre, and suspension setup.

Ahha one of those three, you should of come said hello (wouldnt of minded a pax lap in the porsche :D )

No has stage 2,sticky tyres, lighter wheels, adjustable dampers, pagid pads & a few other bits and bobs! Its a far cry from the last trackday i did when it was standard bar the stage 2! Nice to overtake people rather than be overtaken!!!

Next time I see you at a track day, I will say hi. Your more than welcome for a pax ride in the Porker. I've sold my VX and I'm still lurking on this forum, you can probably tell I'm missing it.
