Who knows the link to the site where all the UKs speed cameras are. I'm going to be leaving MK at about 10.30 friday night and want to be tucked up in bed by midnight at the Travelodge before Hethel!! Ahhhhh, Hethel :jump: :jump: :jump:

No chance di_sh. I did Thetford to Tring, cross country, at it took 1hr 40. That was late at night on dry summer roads, roof off and roads I do know well. We are leaving at about 8ish and expect to be at Norwich between 10.30 - 11pm. What route are you planning to use?

dh_si, That is very similar to my best (Clearest for Cars and Cameras) and fastest route I have found from MK in the 10 years or so I have been doing it. We normally start a bit further south and cut across to ampthill from Woburn and then to Shefford, Bigglewade, A1, Sandy, A428 St Neots and then using your route. IIRC, the only place to watch the cameras is on the A1 in Sandy there is a 60 and a 50 limit with cameras. We did this cause going anywhere near Bedford is a pain, should be ok at your time of day though. Chris.

For anyone using the A140 from the A14, there are two newish cameras to look out for Northbound: At start of 40 limit just before the A1120 junction at Stonham, 3 miles from A14. At Brome (60mph still) 1 mile before A143 roundabout. Going home, there is another, Southbound on the hill just before the A14 junction, but that one is old and very obvious. Take care!
