Should be
Caution - the only Lotus Elise he appears to be breaking is an S1. If we were to bid on the basis it is from a VXR I think we need some pictures of the label on the side that confirms exactly what it is.

No s1/k series elise was ever fitted with abs, so it must be from either a toyota s2 or a vx

The advert refers to a 'Sports Racer' which is a specific Elise special edition. I do not know what size wheels were fitted, but to assume the ABS unit is the same as the VXR edition purely on the basis that the seller says so is extreme stupidity.
The sports racer is a 111r with exige suspension and some stripes
Or how the Seloc wiki puts it
Sports Racer: October 2005
Special paint versions of '06 M.Y. 111R in either Ardent Red with triple Monaco White stripes, or Nightfall Blue with twin Monaco White stripes. Combined total of 199 units with unique build plate on sill. Forged wheels, sport suspension, twin front oil coolers, LTC. Black leather interior with red or blue stitching, and red or blue 'Elise' embroidered into head restraints. Sports Racer decals.
So the abs will be the same as the 111r/exige unit which fits and works as a very good upgrade on a Vx(Well sometimes acording to Thorney BTW if any Scottish vx owners want to check that your car will work with the exige module let me know, its a two minute job to swap the unit over
Just to add, as I mentioned at the start of the thread this Abs module has no connection at all with me. It was posted as a pointer for anyone looking to upgrade the dodgy abs fitted to the Vx. If your not intrested fine but posting random objections without first knowing want your objecting to about seems to be extreme stupidity
If on the other hand your trying to discourage other bidders good luck

He's asking too much for a second hand unit IMO
I think too, I wonder how much a Lotus dealer asks for a new ABS ECU from an Exige S for example
