help!
I had a slight rattle coming from the spring mechanism on the engine cover tonight so I thought that it would be easy to fix. So keeping a long story short I've adjusted it the wrong way so now the rattle has gone but now the f...... release cable won't open the engine cover aaagghhh
The only way to open it (I think, other than breaking it) is to take the drivers seat out so I can get in about the cable with mole grips and hope I can pull it further out hopefully releasing the spring
Any other suggestions are more than welcome

Try getting someone to pull the lever whilst you push the lid down and side to side at the same time, my dads one did the same when we were at Thorneys once and thats what they did the release it.
