Hi everyone, we are having a number of equiries from VX owners regarding their F23 gearbox's breathing, Vauxhall released an upgrade for the F25 box which used to suffer from this. This upgrade is also applicable to the F23 box. So if your car is out of warranty and you want to cure this here are the part no's you require. These can be obtained from any Vauxhall dealer. 90086885 Breather screw 90157801 Vent Nipple 90342633 8mm pipe (8mm fuel pipe will suffice) 90528569 Equalizer/ Catch Tank 91152226 Bleeder Valve 90543748 Compound sealer (Araldite works quicker) Once you have purchased the parts drop me a line a info@courtenaysport.co.uk, with your fax number and I will fax over the fitting instructions and diagrams to you.

Is this to do with it chucking out oil when you cane it on track? Similar to the DIY mod shown(Thorney posted pics in the Editorial sectzion under "How To"s)

Similar, Jon's solution is more official using a spare gb breather, the one I've done is what Palmersport do. Hi Jon by the way
