VGC VX220 NA. 2003 registered on an ‘03’ plate with 22500 miles. I have run this vehicle for two years and am the 4th owner.

Specification

2.2l 16v Ecotec Engine
Milltek (back-box) exhaust
Upgraded roof, mirror and window seals
Red softop with storage bag
Carpet and passenger footrest
MOMO gear knob
Leather centre console
Black cloth seats
AP Racing front callipers and Brembo rears with Mintex 1144 brake pads
Factory alarm and immobiliser
All factory recalls completed (Rear wheels, servo hose)
Complete Vauxhall and Thorney Motorsport service history
Outdoor car cover
MOT: Jul 08
Tax: Mar 08

All the bodywork was replaced by Vauxhall between May 2007 and July 2007 due to faulty (bubbling) paintwork under warranty. This was managed by Pentagon Vauxhall (Sheffield) Ltd.

Whilst at the Vauxhall factory in Luton the following was also replaced:-
• Internal door cards
• Internal sill covers
• Air-vents and grill mesh
• Expansion tank
• Forward side of rear wheel arch paint protection film

The bodywork, therefore, is in very good condition with none of the usual stone chips across the front of the vehicle. The interior is also in good condition with none of the scuffs and scratches that can affect these vehicles.

Two minus points to note though are that the there is one mark on the paintwork near the exhaust (see photo) and that the fan does not work on setting 1 for some reason.

Nothing mechanical (Engine, gearbox, suspension) has caused me any problems since owning the vehicle. The engine mounts were replaced in September 2006 by Thorney Motorsport. The Milltek exhaust was fitted by the original owner and has a nice burble to it on the over-run. Front and rear tyres are practically brand new and have only 500-odd miles on them.

The service book and user manual is up to date as well as receipts for the work that has been undertaken on the vehicle.

Unfortunately I cannot accept any test drives without fully comp insurance and proof of address.
