As per really. Just moved into a property and the T.V arial sucks! We have a dish and a Sat. receiver which work fine and is getting the main channels but can't get hold of a freeview card which would get the rest. You used to be able to get these from Sky for free but they do not offer them any more. If anypne has one spare let us know and we'll make it worth your while. Cheers for looking Dean & Angela

i work for sky, give them a ring and ask them to resend 'Personal Bits' 'Viewing Signals' and 'Resend Signals' you cant receive freesat channels on a freeview box, and you cant receive freeview or freesat channels on a normal sky box regardless of what card you have got.

Angelplayz, I know what you're on about mate. We used to have the BBC contract which then went to Channel4 when BBC became FTA. You need the card for regionalization and the FTV channels. We might have a few lying around which I can frig about for you. I'll get back to you mate. Scott.

I had freesat for about a week before i called them up for a refund. It had loads less channels than freeview, in particuar FREESAT cant get E4!! (the channel i watch most). I paid about £20 for the card from their site, my flat had previously had sky installed so already had the box and dish. I just bought a freeview box and ariel booster, much better.

Yeah, Sky are onto a real loser with "Freesat". Less channels than Freeview, no E4, and £150 per box and very limited recording ability, as opposed to more channels for £20 per box, with the "Freeview Playback" series recording coming shortly. Mmm, value-tastic.
