Finally go some pics up.

Had door surrounds, dash plates, dash and binnacle trimmed in alcantara

Then fitted braided hoses, new AP551 fluid and painted the calipers

Looks great mate B) That's the combo I was going to use on my calipers - what paints did you use? did you remove the calipers to do it? How much did the alcantara cost? (sorry bout all the questions :beat: )

I just used smooth hammerite, was going to take the calipers off but couldnt be bothered after spending hours fitting the hoses. I painted the black with the wheels off tho and then did the writing the next day.

I paid someone else to retrim and cost me £180 all in

Cool, cheers - so you can get hammerite in white thumbsup Sounds like a good price for the re-covering, I did my dash plates in leather which was a very fiddly job, so the dash and binnacle must be really awkward

calipers look great thumbsup - colour combo I'm going to do when I've got some spare time on my hands - was it difficult to detail the lettering? - I've not exactly got surgeons hands!!! Did you paint over the letters on the initial black coat or leave them?

Great job with the calipers, but the interior is a real mix-up for me. I think the dash top in isolation is really good, but combined with the different carpets (your bits and the floor mats) and the beige interior looks pretty awful i'm afraid. Perhaps it's worth trying to swap the beige with somebody's black leather interior?

Good Tip, get your girfl/wife to do the lettering. They spend 60% of their lifes doing make up and nails. I let kate do my brakes and it looks bob on. (Plus they feel good that they have done something to help lol) jus get white hammerite or any high resistant paint and a small brush and your away.
