I'd like to see what this looks like fitted before going ahead. Does anyone have the Regal twin pipe exhaust? And could you post or send a photo? Cheers.

Thanks for that Paul, I'd appreciate that. Regal are looking for a picture for me but I guess it will be just the part and I'll have to picture the end result. Anyway I've bitten the bullet and got it booked in for this Saturday. K&N Induction kit & sports exhaust :D :D :D I'm as exceited as I was when waiting the actual car :P The guy suggested getting there at 8.30AM so it's an early start for me on Saturday. I'm just hoping it doesn't look "too much" since he told me it's massive!

Great Big Hairy Assed Butch Twin pipes.

Nick

I'm having a hard time picturing how bigger Regal twins can be, since the stock pipes already use most of the available space carved into the bumper.....isn't that the fatter Regal pipes touch the bodywork? if so, that would lead to premature paint deterioration.....

Good point Ricky. The exhaust gets very hot back there. I can't imagine it touches the bodywork though.........Paul?

Wait for the pici's. The Regal pipes do fill in most of the available space and, although they come close to the body, they do not touch it.

I have done 1000miles since fitting (including 2x 350mile round trips) with no sign of paint blister or deterioration. If it were to blister or dis-colour there is room to put some heat reflecting material on the inner flange.

Steve, could you email it to me? I could stick it in my album in the user gallery then. Cheers. dennis_ian@hotmail.com (Or are you saying you don't have a scanner? )

Steve, either add it as an attachment, put it in your gallery, or mail it to me (or anyone else for that matter) and I'll put it in the gallery. I'm thinking of separating out the gallery to different sections - good idea?

check the camera settings, put it on super-fine and small/medium size.... they gave an overall idea though, we appreciate the effort Paul... Steve, by chance did you ask Regal if they have one available for this week? on a side note, today I removed the exhaust manifold, piece of cake w/out the rear shell..... not a great piece of engineering, smallish ducts, (restricted flow) and uneven length, and heavy as lead, 5 kilos! the guys at the bodyshop already offered me a part-time job there, seeing how enthusiast and dedicated around my baby... :P

seems like the grille lip was bent a bit upward to fit it better.... looks awesome, the two pipes are actually fused togheter, they used the middle space for the homologation tag..... is it TUV/EU certified, road legal, or is it not ?
