Hi, having searched the entire information superhighway, I've not managed to come up with anything other than estimates for either the front or rear ground clearance.

Is anyone able to tell me what the official ground clearance figure is
. I have a very steep driveway (in my new house) which resulted in me selling my E46 coupe which could only enter on an angle (with it's 3.8 inch ground clearance). However, my girlfriend now has a car which will make the whole entering at an angle thing a lot more difficult.

Yeah the official ground clearance won't take into account the front reg plate, which acts as a pre-warning that the clam is about to get twatted.

I know that I can only JUST get my Halfords jack underneath the sill and that's 140mm at its lowest (That's on my NA on standard wheels and suspension) thumbsup

It is more about the angle of the drive I suspect. I scrape our Zafira on my parents drive but the VX is fine! Must also be something to do with where the wheels are in relation to the front skirt (distance wise) Get a local to check it out

The overhang at the front will also affect it of course thumbsup

This is mine next to a speed bump (mine is lowered a fair bit - put back up 10mm since photo was taken)
