there is one on ebay for 1200 quid, but you can get recon engines for 1400
pretty much why i went down the self build option + extras

how lunched is your one?
they are expensive 2nd hand.... it may be worth seeing how much a bare engine is from GM.

No idea. At 3:30 yesterday Vxl said they hadn't had a chance to look at the car yet, then 45 mins later they called back to say the bottom end had gone completely. I tried to get more details but they wouldn't give any. Need to get a second opinion really.
ElizP987 has an engine for sale althgouh I vaguely recall her saying it had NoS fitted and other bits, which doesn't fill me with confidence for longevity.

Sorry to hear this Jason, I would definately get a second opinion though, wouldnt rely on a VXL garage for anything!
What happened and how many miles did it have on it, find it hard to believe such major engine failure when its only pushing 800 odd kilo's about.....

2. even if it was cheaper than an NA, I still wouldn't want one. This is my third NA now and at no point have I wanted a turbo, despite having driven a couple in various states of tune.

Try leaving a note on the z22se forum I have a Bare block but no top end

Ehsan motors are breaking a vectra sri, there in walsall/west midlands its done 97k though.
might be cheap? - 07823 640150
edit- i think vspc have had a vx na in recently for breaking.
