i have the k&n induction ( this was my first mod!) for me it provided a really good growl in car.....sounded like a sports car at last!! but no extra power but did seem to make the car rev easier....
but i am looking at having one of the big idg systems that the elise boys have!! anyone here have any experience with this one or any other?

as you've seen in thr pic, the BMC carbox airbox is nice, very light, and has a superior, deeper sound IMO compared to the KN....as a stand-alone mod, no extra horses obvioulsly...(mmmmaybe one? )
pricey though, at 250 euros.....

Alot of these filter manufacturers go on about ram air effects on the filter.
How much air can be rammed down it when the air is being thrown against the grill first
Perhaps some sort of mod on the side air vent to allow more air into the filter would be a good idea?
Perhaps obtain a 12v portable fridge and pass the air through that

not a fridge-how about an a/c unit, then you'd get some positive pressure too.

Sorry, it's my cost cutting performance mod ideas kicking in....
How about a modified 12v fridge with a self inflating baloon with a release valve when on demand deflates, blowing more cold air into the engine.
I'm sure Ricky will be up for this mod.
