Emailed my insurer 'Esure' about trackdays - I'm covered under standard insurance. No extra charges or excesses all for £379 :D :D Down side? No mods allowed :o :o :o

Are you going to conveniently forget about the induction and sports pipe then?

what induction and sports pipe?

So you'd rather risk your insurance on road being void for cover for the odd track day? Interesting priorities...

Interesting priorities...

I must admit I hadn't realised that they wouldn't cover mods or that they would cover track days - after all I had a accident at a track day and paid for the repair myself asumming i wasn't insured

I now have to decide to whether to unmod and enjoy care free trackdays or to switch insurers and pay a heck of a lot more with or without track day cover.

Anyway if you have a 'normal' accident on the road insurance companies wouldn't nessesarily check it out (or even know) and to change the induction back is a 10 minute job.

Anyway why am I trying to justify myself to anyone I don't know! I just find your tone a little condescending (spelling apologies)

...let him without sin.....
