Hi,
Just wondered how many scottish owners are lurking in here and how many in the central belt. Do you guys meet up regulary. I would like to modify the car to stage 1 and try and get rid of the flat spot . I have converted from rice burners (200sx and 300zx ) and have to say the vx is a little less twitchty in the wet. I like the sound of TMS and Courtenay but thats a hell of a drive. Do you guys use anyone local for tuning and geo set ups?

There will be more replys soon.
I'm in Aberdeen and have driven back and forth to TMS twice. Its not that bad!! and wouldn't trust most of the local tuners....
For geo's i went to a place local but ex racer and does most of the elises in the area. I think a company called CLCM in edinburghshire is the place to go for you local.

Hello
Closest to you is Falklands - but the superchip map doens't seem to have a great reputation. However my NA map seems fine and i was happy with the before and after rolling road runs.
We are a pretty social bunch and meet up quite a lot for p*ss taking, drinking, mountain biking and (occassionally) out in the cars
Online we can usually be found at www.scottishelises.com or (more recently) http://scottishvxs.freeforums.org/.
If you keep an eye on the events section os scottish elises then you'll be in the know!
Geo wise i'd recommend CLCM in edinburgh, Willie has had his oily hands on my car 3 times so far and each time i've come away impressed.
Hope to meet up soon, feel free to invite yourself along to any SE meet and we'll make sure you get introduced to lots of people

Hello,
Im from Aberdeen aswell & like Martin, have driven down to TMS although that was for the stage 4. If its just a stage 1 your after....i dont know if it would be worth travelling all the way down to Milton Keynes....you know what that means...you'll just have to get a stage 2 down at TMS to make it worth your while.
as above...keep an eye out in the meets section on this site & on the scotish elise site....hopefully meet you soon.
Cheers
Roy

Hello,
I use a boy in Edinburgh for my Services / Mot's etc - he used to work at Murrays in Edinburgh (the Lotus Dealer).
Never had any probs, sound bloke who spend the time to sit and speak to you about what you want
Think he has a website up now - Scottish Lotus Specalist.

Cheers guys,
Will def try and make it to one of the meets soon. Stage 2 you say, ah what the heck!. Your right , will save on petrol money travelling once. Will give them a phone and get it booked in for the near future. CLCM sound the like guys I need to speak to.
Will have a look on the scottish elise/vx site and add my name in. it would be good to meet some other s and see other cars. You always wonder if someone elses car does the same thing etc.
