I am really struggling to find any UK ones availiable. Any advice on the Jap/US imports ? reliability/compatability etc?

erm no idea on compatability, but if/when you get one, just buy an M3 Real card and a 2-4Gb card My tescos is usually good at getting DS's and Wii's in stock if you want ill grab one and give you a shout should I see one.

EDIT...forgot to say, DS's are worldwide compatible. Games from anywhere will work on any DS.
I have a US game which works as normal on my UK DS. The only thing you'll have to watch out for is getting the charger to work in UK, but I guess an adapter (the kind you use on your hols) will be fine.

Joe order one in from the US of A for $70 or whatever they are now, all you need for import models is a £5 charger from Game and your away mate. The games arent region locked so you can use Uk ones in imports no probs, but as Slind says its all about getting the £20 card and downloading the games you want.

My missus wanted one so while i was at it i thought i'd get myself one too, so went for the Ltd edition Jap/US only one just to p*ss my brother off
