i have just looked at Bedford, brands and silverstone on google earth. For proximity of housing Brands is far worse than Bedford. Silverstone is comparable with bedford in terms of housing, what is their noise limit compared with Bedford?

As a resident of the next door village, track days are not an issue at Silverstone as we have plenty of "real" race events (F1, F1 Testing, FIA GT's etc.) where noise levels are in a different league - but as a petrol head, none of it bothers me

Not supprised, isnt it £1k+ per head for one of their days?

He has also just invested in a new fleet of cars, so the track day business is not on the top of his list of priorities.
