Great pics thumbsup

This one makes the track look worryingly 'bumpy' - are there a lot of adverse camber moments?

wow nice, it's a great track oulton park. what other cars were you on the track with? Were you at the front of the lineup because you had the fastest car there? i've never been on track in a car before, just motorbikes, and there are plenty of fast bikes to always have a play with. Whereas if I turn up to a car novice track day would it be full of hatches 306's and corsa xsi's?!

Loads of stuff from a ratty old Mk2 Golf to a ferrari f430, was at the front as i was just first in the q for the sighting laps. Ive never done a novice day before but i doubt it would be full of shitters

Open pit lane, sorted through easytrack.com / .co.uk

You will have a wicked time, if you have never been round oulton before i would recomend you book a session with the instructor. You think your going quick, then they show you what your doing wrong and its like Imnotworthy

Yeah imagine what it's like on a Suzuki GSX-R 1000, even with a steering damper fitted the bike can get into a tank slapper very quickly if you keep the throttle pinned over those bumps.

Oulton's a great circuit and very challenging you need a good set up on bike or car, camber's are not too bad but there are/were bumps right where braking points are, but I've not lapped the circuit for a couple of years so resurfacing can change the character of corners if you've not been on the track recently your reference's are changed, it does look bumpy though.

Cheers
Ian
