Recently some members have mentioned using EBC greenstuff pads,as I am due to change my pads I had a look for them and found that they also do a Redstuff pad quote"EBC Redstuff is an even heavier duty formulation for entry level track day use or faster street cars such as Evo/Impreza/M3/M5 " Surely this is the pad i should be fitting rather than the Greestuff guys can you advise ?

red stuff need a ot of heat in them before they will start to work. It is true that the cars mentioned use them but only on the track. If you put them on you will find that when you press the brake pedal at a junction, you will just go straight on if the brakes are cold. The green stuf are fine but if you plan to do trackdays it is best to change your brake fluid aswell to 5.1 i think

"Dude" used the redstuff pads last summer and commented that they suprisingly good on a race track but not allright for everyday use. For instance he was unable to lock the brakes without making two halts from 50 mph to 0 first.

I use greenstuff on track and they perform just fine...cost/quality ratio is spot on.......
OTOH, if your pockets are similar to linda lovelace' throat, then go for Pagid.

I'd stick with Greenstuff. I had Red stuff on my Audi TT with Porsche 993 turbo brakes and they were a bugger to get heat into on the road (an the TT weighed a tonne and a half!)
Very happy with my VX on greens...
