I think there was a thread on this a few months ago when it started getting chilly. I remember one person thought it was OK and others were not so sure. The easiest heater mod is a bigger coat :P I would have a read in the useful thread collection and do a search as there are a few easy things to fiddle with to get more heat. I think I am one of the chosen few that have an OK'ish heater.

I did find the ceramic heater usefull for taking the edge off when it was bitter cold but they really dont get you 'warm' the best thing i did was fitting a new duct pipe and manually forcing the heater to its hottest setting, (easy access as it is on top of the matrix) this made a hell of a lot of difference... again tho, loads of ideas and easy fixes in the useful threads bit thumbsup

I bought one off ebay for about a tenner, used it a few times and to be honest it was pretty rubbish. I recently sold it on ebay for £1

I got one from maplin which Im pretty happy with, velcro'ed to the passenger footrest - it does actually have an impact on the cabin temp - especially if you put the cars heater on 'feet and windscreen' -as some of this warm air gets sucked in and reheated by the little maplin heater.
Im happy with mine but many arent!
It can actually get too hot in the VX!!
