There is no bank 2 on a 4 cylinder. Bank 2 would be the second row of cylinders on a V6 or V8 engine, which would have their own lambda sensors. You should only see Bank1 sensor 1 (pre cat) and Bank 1 sensor 2 (post cat). Mark

New rear lambda sensor arrived from ebayshop : vauxhallpartswarehouse Just installed and seems to be working perfectly. I'l have to update the software so i can log the voltage. Not completely sure its cured all my problems as seems to be averaging out at about 0.8v I"ll have to monitor my fuel consuption. might clean the spark plugs.

Depending on what software you have, can you clear engine codes on it. If so this should reset the learnt settings back to factory. Then go out for a drive , ideally in 4th gear, and try and drive some nice partial throttle steadily at varying speeds, ie. not thrash it, and it should show in closed loop mode. You will see the short fuel trim voltage vary wildly from rich to lean, this is normal. Keep an eye on your long term fuel trim to see if it goes + or - % as it learns your fuel / engine mods I would be tempted to put the new lamda as the new mixture sensor, first, plus a clean fresh air filter, then go for the drive. The second cat sensor is just to check cat efficiency .
