Hi, I am based near Liverpool, yeh "da captiol of culture" Whatever da is ! Any garage recommendations where i could get vx serviced ?? ......am new round here so just asking for some sound advice, cheers guys n gals

I've always used Wilson's of Bolton. They are the VX Specialists in these parts. Contact number is 01204 389999. They seem to have a good group of lads who know and are expereinced with the VXT. Hope this helps. Wrighty

I've just got my motor back from Lookers Chester. They are one of the few NW Vauxhall authorised dealers who can service the VX220. Note, they only have one trained VX220 service engineer, so best book well in advance. They picked out a number of issues I wasn't aware, and cleared up the recalls outstanding. No complaints so far. I'm sure it was them that sent mine back with the offside tyres inflated 10psi more than the nearside.
I know it's not the hardest of things to fix but schoolboy error on Lookers part.

Sure me too. I only heard by word of mouth from a couple of Lotus and Noble owners. Theres a few favourable refereces on SELOC but nowt too much.

You can ask any Lotus or Noble owner and they would NEVER take their car to a vauxhall dealer. Must be something in that.

lol There's no way i'm going to take it to Vauxhall, not after they racked up a £1000 bill for servicing a 2 year old Tigra (ok don't laugh, I was 19, it was cool). Was just interested to know what they charge these days
