I enjoyed this trackday last year and being on a Saturday was a bonus. I'm going to book this for 28/6/08, be good to see a few other vx's there too

Was indeed a great day out last year - I won't be there this year as I'm now VX-less, but would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else, especially those considering their first track day as I found it to be a great venue and setup as a beginner!

You were there last time i was there Walkes? 
Was looking at this myself. May have to try and persuade Amiee, meant to be saving for the Wedding.
Charlie/Mat/phil you fancy this again as well? Had a great day there last year. Was bloody hot though!!

Think I remember that day, brand new R888s, and nearly melted the buggers.
At least their site now has online booking and availability.

I remember it...standard tubby - no track experience. Be nice to see the difference with a heavily modded tubby now - still no experience tho lol

If you have adjustable suspension what settings do you use for this track?
e.g. Would it be too much on Nitrons with 6f and 8r clicks from full stiff out of 22.

Being a pretty flat airfield you can get away with as stiff as you like. depends on your driving style, and how you want the car to handle.

Managed to complete 150 miles on track today. think that is going to need a new set of rears before the national though.
The guy in the sagaris was well miffed he could not keep up even though he was just about pulling away on the straits.
Meet plenty of people with various cars and one seriously quick GOLF MK6 GTI

Hope you managed to get home ok SteveM. Hope the car gets sorted quickly, and nothing to serious has happened to it.
