I'm looking to overhaul my suspension this summer, as I know a few others are too.

Was looking at Powerflex bushes (£197), but they sound too hard, so the Elise bushes sound like a happy medium.

Slindborg showed me these guys who are pretty cheap. B)

Gave them a ring, and based on 10 people buying we can get a set for £113.30 delivered (just over 6% discount). Not a huge discount, but that's what they gave the Lotus guys for thier group buy, so he wouldn't budge.

As I said, we need to get 10 customers, and it's only for full sets. If people are after front or rear sets independantly they have to pay full price (£63 each). Although I'm sure people could split sets between themselves if needed.

If we go over 10, we can push for a better discount!!!

Lets get a list on :P

I asked about balljoints too, and they couldn't supply them. I'm in the middle of trying to get hold of moto-buildracing to see what thier groupbuy price on bushes would be like, and also to see about balljoints.

moto-buildracing

Offered them at £100 + £7 postage. Also confirmed that they ARE Autobush parts. Ball joints would then be £14.99 (£39.50 + VAT from AutoVaux). Sounds like a bargain to me!!

Had a good chat with the guy, he was telling me how they are currently expanding thier range of VX220 parts (especially fibreglass parts). Says they will be the cheapest around, and to keep an eye on the site.

Can't see why not. The postage might be a little more expensive, but why not?

Note to all

moto-buildracing have agreed to the price of £107 all in for the Autobush winshbone bush kit as a VX220.org owners club discount rather than a group buy discount :groupjump: happy days!!

Just ring up saying you are an owners club member, and giving your username, and he'll give the discount.

Hum, try to get a confirmation of the brand for the balljoints, if they are the crappy "Moog" ones or the good "Delphi" ones.
It is very important, there is so much Lotus users unhappy with the feeling of the Moog ones

Not sure, the TC163 is the equvalent part to the Quentin Hazel one and I fitted 4 of them to the other side of my car a few weeks ago.

I've just been to pick them up in the end they cost me £30.88 for 4
