A few people have asked this question before but I can't seem to find an answer. How does all these upgrades and mods effect the vauxhall warranty.
I've only had my vx for about six months but want to have the engine tuning that regal offer but I don't really want to stuff up my warranty. Which I may have already done by having a K&N fitted??

Can depend on individual dealer but bottom line is that any changes to the car which aren't standard approved by Vauxhall and lead to a failure will not be covered. Both the unapproved part and any part directly affected by thats parts change.
There is usually common sense applied, modded exhaust would not affect warranty claim on window for example.
There is a good chance that Vauxhall will be 'warm' to any mods from the Sprint spec cars when they come out so and official upgrade option could be made avaialble to us.

My dealer instantly commented on the change in exhaust system and air filter lasy week but didn't refuse to carry out the warranty work. Thorney is right - it will depend on individual dealers.
