Pamp..'colour' of your vehicle is of little relivence, it can be changed with a very high success rate and reflects little on the 'value' of your machine.
There are a multitude of other considerations you need to add to the equation before you need to worry/considerr 'colour'
Not really. When I was buying mine id only have Madrin, Black or LY with speedlines. Anything else was dismissed no matter how awesome. Resprays are expensive and speedlines are almost impossible to acquire.
It does depend what you want.
It does depend on what you want, i agree. Obviously only speaking from my own experience and opinions gathered from them but when i first saw my maiden vx, her form, shape, lines and presence were the defining factor that drew me to purchasing her that same day, not her colour. Infact the one i saw was red, the one i wanted was british racing green and the one i ended up with was silver (because i wanted her asap/before the years out and there were only silvers available that could be then be fitted to the full spec i required in the timescale i desired.) To me it's like seeing the most beautiful woman you know walking down the street but turning away and blanking her advances because she's wearing a red dress and not a blue.
My experiences aside, i think there is so much more that makes a vx a good vx (gosh there are some shoddy examples out there) than it's colour, to make a choice governed mainly on it's colour is questionable at best (respectfully) but then that's just me and i'm a strange un

Once the money is transfered across i will be. hopefully picking it up Saturday. Totally standard but want to make it like p4cks above. just don't know how to get wheels of to paint calipers if you aren't meant to jack it up.
Heard all the rattles and bumps that i read about, was told about socks over vents, and saw some of the inevetable stones chips..........BUT I LOVE IT!!! That's part of the character of the car.
Looking forward to a meet now (and some driver training)

It's not repaired yet. He can't drive the car at all. Nice bloke. Got to pay for the cam belt service in few thousand miles though.Well there goes another one Ive missed, lol. To little to late hey. Has the owners hand repaired yet as I was to go see it a few weeks back but he wasn't around due to having broken his hand or something and I couldn't make it again until next weekend when my exams are over. So I guess it was as nice an example as he told me then.
Good luck with the new toy.
Chris.
Good luck with the exams
