as above i need a new front end as mine is cracked & looks tatty from a previous repair. also have a few other paint issues around the rest of the car, scratch on rear clam, bubble on door & bonnet. Trying to touch these up given the colour/type of paint on the car at present just wouldnt do & i dont want to spray it the same colour again as the paint cost loads & you had to use twice/three times as much as its a weird type of pearlesant. So... as i nearly sprayed it white last but then decided on ST orange i was thinking that would be tidy but there are a few of them about now. Also maybe a nice metalic green might look different without being over the top? Any suggestions with pics would be appriecated thanks......

:P Think they would, you have no vision Jon, if i had the software i would have a go, perhaps someone could try it on the Vx with Photoshop, could be tricky though.

Heres some pics to give you an idea. On an Exige
On a GT40

One guy on Seloc painted his MK1 Exige Chrome Orange and it took 9Litres of paint that cost £100 a Litre lol. Lotus havent release the recipe for it yet so you hav eto buy from them and its water based so uber gay to work with. feck £1K in paint alone to spray the car.

Seconded, need pictures - I love Chrome Orange and often wondered what it would look like on the VX...

Personally, I don't like white cars, and I think that the current fashion for white will get old very quickly.

How about a matt black finish :) Ultra stealthy !!

Not so:

B25 Chrome Orange (Base) Dupont F0262 F7504 A082B6338F
Chrome Orange (Pearl) Dupont HE01 F7504

The pearl option is the one to go for. As for the cost it wasnt anything exorbitant, but cant remember it from the top of my head. (Edit: I did remember - it was about 800 pounds including disassembly/assembly/work/materials)
