Before the search police jump in I have searched . Apart from a car what will I need to run the scubawagen at a track day ? Sorry for asking a question that has more than likely been asked before but I really can't spend all day trying to get the phrase " do I need a harness for a track day " to work in the search engine cheers for any advise and flame away if you wish

fire extinguisher helmet harnesses not essential but wise in a convertible track day insurance cover (optional) second set of legal tyres to drive the car home on if you kill your track tyres long sleave top lots of track days don't allow you to go on in just a t shirt.

All depends, contact the organiser, some like Easytrack tends to have a service on a track days.

There was a guy from simplytyres at Snetterton on Tuesday who was doing full set's of R888's for £520 fitted/balanced etc IIRC (may get a small discount if you ask nicely). Very knowledgeable and helpful for pressure checks and tyre swapping etc . All he does is track days throughout UK and Europe.

As for your original question, deep pockets are also very helpful. I used 97 liters of super unleaded in 204 track miles

I would have said that for a first track day just turn up with your car properly fueled, all other fluids at the correct levels and tyres at the correct pressures. Yes you need long sleeves; helmets are usually available for hire at a nominal fee (check first). You do not need a fire extinguisher or harnesses they can come later if at all. Of course if your tyres are marginal you are b*ggered if you can't get replacements on site - Sinclairs often support LoT days. Again, check beforehand. Above all enjoy! chinky chinky

Try £128 and that's purely the track usage. I also had a 95 mile round trip to the circuit :beat:
